Prague after midnight is a nightwalker’s dream. At night the city center is seemingly forgotten and vacant, even while occupying the same physical space of the daytime. I came to think of Prague at night as ‘night city’ with its own mysterious atmosphere and I found it very inviting.
Actually, I think the night is the best time to walk or photograph pretty much anywhere. But here, the deep shadows cast by street lanterns turn the otherwise ordinary city into a fairytale-like magical scenes and it feels different. I walk against the cold night air; my steps echo against the closed doors and windows. I can be just an observer, looking at the stars. I don’t have to be cold and lonely inside. This night I walk by myself and I can be anyone…
Without the dark, we’d never see the stars

You are right about the fairytalelike feel. Looks just like Disneyland except Prague is real and with a long history! 🙂
Cheers! These photos of Prague at night are incredible! The way you captured the city lights reflecting off the cobblestone streets and the glow of the old buildings really brings out the magical vibe of the place.
I love how these photos show Prague at night – the city looks so calm and beautiful
